The Brantford Police Service is seeking experienced officers for Part-Time Constable roles. This casual position is designed for those who have recently retired or are considering early retirement. Candidates must have a solid background in policing, particularly in uniformed duties, to support full-time members effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist full-time staff in uniformed duties
• Complete Use of Force Certification as required
• Obtain First Aid and CPR certification
• Engage actively with the community
• Contribute to the diversity of the police service
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years as an Ontario police officer
• Basic Constable Training from Ontario Police College
• Proficient in uniformed patrol duties
• Must not be out of policing for more than five years
• Successful completion of OPC equivalency exam for non-Ontario candidates
