Join Six Nations as a Band Representative Supervisor, enhancing child welfare for marginalized families. Lead and mentor a dedicated team while fostering culturally appropriate support.
In this full-time position, you will report to the Manager Band Representative Services, focusing on family preservation and reunification efforts.
Your role includes overseeing Band Representatives to ensure they provide appropriate services as mandated by legislative frameworks. Engage effectively with support networks and case management processes to maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise case management and staff performance
• Ensure alignment with social services regulations
• Foster professional development in team members
• Conduct necessary court proceedings and document filing
• Provide strategic direction and advocacy for families
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work or related qualification
• Minimum three years supervisory experience
• Active registration with professional social work bodies
• Familiarity with Indigenous social issues
• Valid driver's license with insured vehicle
Drive impactful change and improve child welfare advocacy within Six Nations.
