Make a difference as a Night Support Counsellor at SOAR's Peter Willis Residence in Brantford, Ontario.

This Full Time position is pivotal in our Justice Services program, where you will provide individual and group counseling for clients who are working towards reintegration after incarceration. You will facilitate their development of essential social skills and ensure they receive the support necessary for a productive lifestyle. Your impact can resonate throughout the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in executing Support Plans for client improvement
• Administer and document medication accurately
• Mediate disputes among clients effectively
• Carry out necessary substance use testing
• Perform various administrative and housekeeping tasks
Requirements:
• College diploma in Human/Social Services
• Minimum of 1 year in therapeutic or correctional settings
• Capability of obtaining Reliability Status
• Familiar with MS Office and databases
• Reliable transport availability
