At SOAR, we are dedicated to improving lives within our communities, serving Brantford, Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk. As part of the Housing Program, you will assist youth aged 14-16, ensuring their needs are met through collaboration and advocacy. Your expertise will drive the development of personalized support plans tailored to each client's strengths and challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Intervene with Crisis Intervention Training techniques
• Facilitate strength-based service plans for clients
• Support the Plan of Care with clinical guidance
• Advocate and develop client self-advocacy skills
• Teach life skills using cognitive behavioural methods
Requirements:
• College Diploma in Social Services preferred
• Registered with OCSW/SSW or CRPO
• Minimum 2 years experience in mental health settings
• Knowledge of services for youth at risk
• Valid G level driver’s license
