Part-Time Caseworker at Salvation Army

In this part-time position, working 15 hours per week, you'll engage with individuals facing unemployment, addiction, and family challenges.

Your role involves maintaining an active caseload, conducting assessments, and offering counseling to clients in a 24-hour operational setting. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to accommodate various responsibilities and shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an active caseload of residents

• Complete intake assessments for each client

• Provide counseling and referrals to support services

• Record activities and incidents accurately

• Collaborate with supervisors on client evaluations

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Service or equivalent experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of community resources

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications

• Satisfactory Criminal Records Check required
