Support individuals who are deafblind with Sensity in Paris, ON. This full-time role focuses on communication and daily living assistance, working overnight shifts to empower independence.
Sensity is a leader in providing Intervenor Services for the deafblind community. We offer a stable position with a competitive wage starting at $24.31/hour, along with additional training and personal growth opportunities.
Your role will involve enabling individuals to thrive in their home and community, effectively enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals in home and community settings
• Use communication techniques for information relay
• Assist with personal hygiene and meal preparation
• Empower individuals in achieving daily living goals
• Maintain complete documentation and records
Requirements:
• Diploma in Intervenor or related human services
• Experience with developmental disabilities
• Proficiency in ASL or Signed Exact English
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Strong communication skills in English
