As a dependable on-call relief employee, you will be instrumental in safely delivering mail across rural and suburban areas. Required skills include sorting, collecting, and delivering mail efficiently in diverse weather conditions, while maintaining knowledge of local infrastructure. You will also ensure the safe handling of mail and represent Canada Post by wearing your identification on deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and deliver mail items accurately and timely
• Maintain knowledge of local roads and delivery points
• Secure mail safely during delivery
• Process various postal products and services
• Wear Canada Post during delivery
Requirements:
• Valid permanent provincial driver's license (Class 5 or G)
• Satisfactory safe driving record (driver's abstract needed)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
• Reliable vehicle meeting Canada Post specifications
• Insurance coverage for your delivery vehicle
