In this role, you'll be responsible for sorting, collecting, and delivering mail in a safe manner, navigating various weather and traffic conditions. Knowledge of local infrastructure is key to ensuring timely and secure deliveries. You'll also engage with community members while proudly representing Canada Post.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort, collect, and deliver mail items promptly
• Familiarize yourself with local roads and delivery points
• Ensure secure transport of mail throughout the journey
• Handle various CPC products and services efficiently
• Wear identification prominently while on duty
Requirements:
• Class 5 or G permanent driver's license required
• Excellent driving record (driver's abstract required)
• Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
• Vehicle must meet Canada Post specifications
• Must maintain adequate vehicle liability insurance
