We are looking for a Benefits Administrator to support employee benefits and HR operations for a healthcare organization in Brattleboro, Vermont. This long-term contract position focuses on delivering accurate benefits administration, responsive employee support, and dependable coordination across HR and payroll processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of benefit programs, leave administration, and compliance practices while helping ensure a smooth experience for employees throughout the employment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, and retirement offerings.
• Manage benefit enrollment activities and guide employees through plan selections, changes, and related questions.
• Administer leave processes and coordinate documentation for absences, workers' compensation matters, and other employee support cases.
• Prepare and distribute clear benefits communications so employees understand available programs, deadlines, and eligibility requirements.
• Assist with onboarding tasks and provide broader HR administrative support to maintain accurate employee records and processes.
• Partner with payroll to ensure benefit deductions are processed correctly and provide backup assistance for payroll-related activities when needed.
• Monitor benefits transactions and employee updates to help maintain compliance with company policy and applicable regulations.
