Warehouse Pallet Inspector 1st Shift (Ryder Supply Chain Solutions)
Location: Brattleboro, Vermont
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday 3:00 am – 11:30 am (First Shift)
Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour

Video/Quality-Inspect
- Pallets
- Palamatic Machine and Rolling Line
- Pallet Inspector / Palamatic Operator:
- Safely and securely inspect pallets at the required rate and safety standards
- Manually lift 70‑lb pallets from a stack to the rolling line and use the Palamatic machine for inspection and separation
- Quality: Ensure pallet inspection and separation meet company standards
- Inventory: Conduct physical inventories as required
- Safety & Security:
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining warehouse security
- Operate in a manner that promotes safety
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
- Wear all required safety equipment while repairing pallets
- Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1–2+ years of experience in carpentry or a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to comprehend basic math
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Must be punctual with a good attendance record
- Works independently with minimal supervision
- Shows a high degree of initiative
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
- Ability to:
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Be a team player
- Create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
- Operate power equipment in a safe manner
- Lift and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently
- Use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements
- Work at a steady, fast pace while kneeling and/or twisting
- Stand and walk for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times per 8‑hour shift)
- Additional screening may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer‑specific background checks.
