Dairy Processing Operator – 6pm to 6am – $21/hr + Shift Diff

Join Lactalis U.S. Yogurt as a Dairy (Yogurt) Processor based in Brattleboro. We are looking for a dedicated operator to process yogurt bases, perform cleaning tasks, test raw milk, and operate the pasteurizer and other equipment as needed. This is a full‑time, 12‑hour shift position with competitive pay and benefits.

• 12‑hour shift: 6 pm–6 am
• Week One: 3 days on / 4 days off
• Week Two: 4 days on / 3 days off

• Operate processing equipment in compliance with quality assurance, productivity, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitizing per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Monitor and control temperatures, pressures, and flow throughout the processing cycle.
• Adhere to testing procedures and provide required samples to the laboratory before packaging.
• Monitor and control the flow of product from processing to packaging.

• Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment.
• Operate lab equipment to support milk testing.
• Update milk composition data.
• Operate equipment using Human Interface System (HMI).
• Enter batch results and inventory control using SAP.
• Complete chart verification to state standards.
• Perform cleaning (MSS) and periodic maintenance as scheduled.
• Follow all SOPs and GMP.
• Follow lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
• Practice good housekeeping.
• Plan and schedule batches with limited supervision.
• Understand clean‑in‑place systems and processes.
• Physical ability to perform equipment maintenance as needed.

• HTST trained or willing to attend training.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP.
• Flexible mindset.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
