Seasonal Store Associate

Blue Seal Farm & Home, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family of companies, is seeking a Seasonal Store Associate to support our team during the busy season at our Brattleboro, VT location. This part-time, seasonal role offers fewer than 30 hours per week and requires weekend availability. We also offer a generous employee discount as part of this opportunity.

• The compensation range for this role is $16.00 to $16.50 an hour. Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.

PRIMARY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist customers with product needs and answering questions
• Care of plants and greenery
• Cashing out customers with register system, stocking store, and loading store customers
• Other duties may include, loading bagged feed, shrubs, trees, plants, and related products for customers
• May also require operation of a hand truck in a safe manner and follow all safety rules
• Receive, accurately load, and rotate product
• Maintain cleanliness of the showroom floor and nursery
• Other duties as assigned by Store Management

EXPERIENCE &

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Qualified candidates must be able to lift 55 lbs. to a height for 50 inches
• Must be able to work in different environments
• Outstanding customer service skills is a must
• Able to work independently as well as with others and supervision
• Must have reliable transportation
