Job Description

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders; take inventory; complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Communication skills: comprehend and give correct written instruction; communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Standing for most tasks; walking on ceramic tile or brick with linoleum in some food process areas; work surface height between 36 and 48 inches.
• Occasional lifting of items such as bulk deliveries (up to 50 pounds, with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5'); cases stocked onto shelves up to 72 inches high; large cans (about 3 pounds 7 ounces); pizza sauce (up to 30 pounds); pizza dough trays (about 12 pounds per tray).
• Occasional stairs or ladder use to change light bulbs or clean ovens; wash walls.
• Postures: forward bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and continuous hand-eye coordination. Tasks may involve turning on/off controls, lifting and lowering objects, scooping ingredients, cleaning surfaces, and answering phones.
• Handle tools and equipment such as pens, computer, telephones, calculator, pizza cutters, and pizza peels.

• Essential skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator); ability to make correct change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and dexterity to perform precise movements with speed.
• Ability to work with basic math and measurements, and to operate a computer or touch screen to enter orders.
• Physical readiness for standing, walking on various surfaces, lifting up to 50 pounds, and infrequent climbing or bending as described.
