Antenatal Test Nurse

Responsible for the provision and coordination of care for the high and low risk antenatal, intra-partum, and postpartum women and neonates within a family/patient centered care framework. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring and Certification in OB preferred.
• Three years clinical experience in perinatal.
• Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act, patient's rights, accreditation standards and Title 22 regulations.
• Knowledge of teaching techniques, adult education, and evaluation methods.
• Demonstrated ability to present self in a positive and professional manner.

• Current licensure to practice registered nursing in the state of California required.
• Current AHA BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS, NRP certification as required by Department.
• These certifications must be completed before the 90 day provisional period and must always be completed prior to being assigned to full patient (level 3 care- see cross training policy) care in that area.

Salary Range: $36.00-$55.00
