Fab Maintenance Mechanic

• Base Pay $18.75 - $20.50 / Hour

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for assemble, inspect, install and test new pieces of equipment to ensure they are in good working order. You will need to troubleshoot and perform emergency repairs when something malfunctions.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections
• Perform routine maintenance functions
• Ability to repair, install, rebuild, troubleshoot equipment
• Installing and assembling new machines and equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing machine failures
• Installing replacement parts (which you'll often fabricate yourself using machine shop instruments)
• Using power tools and different hand tools to complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• logging performed maintenance work through either paper documentation or a CMMS

• Great attention to detail
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
• Excellent organizational skills
