Role Overview
We are seeking a AI/Data engineer – with a focus on scaling AI solutions to join our global team driving our AI/Data-programatic approach globally. This role is critical to transform our company and scale AI/Data solutions based on proprietary data, leading technology and strong global teams and SMEs.
This role bridges technology and business understanding by ensuring that use cases built on our Common Data Platform (CDP) directly improve elevator service operations, sales, and customer outcomes ideal candidate combines strong tech competencies (Azure, Databricks, AI/AI Ops, Dev/Data/AI-ops and understanding of AI-models/GenAI tools) with business acumen and an understanding of how to scale the developed solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop / support the development of everything from classical machine learning models to advanced deep learning and Generative AI/LLM-based solutions
- Ensure e2e quality of the solution and scale it globally technically – with strong business acumen and collaboration with the Product owner and our business owners in the regions (e.g. US, Spain, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Korea)
- Show ownership for bringing AI/Data ideas to realized products – adding business value with short payback times
- Be the realistic technical product voice for our data/AI solutions in early AI/Data product discussions with our business leaders, the PO, the architects and the devops team
- Design, implement, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and ADLS
- Apply automation to streamline and scale recurring data engineering tasks across the CDP
- Develop reporting and visualization solutions to support scaling and ensure transparency on quality and impact
- Work with Data Architects to ensure automation aligns with standards, governance, and platform strategy
- Collaborate with Architecture and Business teams and also with Dev Ops/Data Ops teams
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and best practices in data, automation, and AI to drive platform evolution
- Explore and leverage the latest capabilities of Azure AI Foundry and Databricks Agent Bricks to enable intelligent, agentic orchestration
