Training as an IT Specialist for Application Development (m/f/d)

- Development, implementation, testing, and commissioning of software applications
- Software design, customization, and maintenance
- Architecture of databases and user interfaces
- Participation in a globally active IT and software department
- Procurement and configuration of IT systems
- Hardware and software installation and configuration
- Maintenance and servicing of IT systems
- Data security, data protection, and copyright

- Requirement: at least a secondary school diploma
- Training start: from August/September of a year
- Training duration: 3 years
- Vocational school lessons: 3 blocks of 4 weeks each per school year at the vocational college in Duisburg
- Intermediate examination: after approximately 1.5 years, consisting of theory
- Final examination: after 3 years, consisting of theory and practice
