Senior Data Engineer, Brazil

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and implement scalable data solutions that drive business value for our global clients. Working with modern data stacks in cloud environments, you'll develop robust data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement effective data governance practices. Your expertise will be crucial in to support a critical migration initiative ensuring business continuity throughout the migration process.

You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data transformation and integration from stores across UK and USA regions.

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to process large volumes of data efficiently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and usability
• Implement and maintain data quality measures throughout the data lifecycle
• Create and optimize dimensional data models to support analytical needs
• Develop and maintain Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions for our clients
• Implement data governance practices including cataloging and lineage tracking
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes

• Advanced English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Experience working with international clients
• Proven background in data engineering with modern data stacks
• Experience in Azure cloud environments using SQL and/or Spark
• Knowledge of data quality practices and implementation methods
• Familiarity with pipelines for ETL processes
• Experience with Data Orchestration
• Experience with data cleansing, transformation, and integration.
• Experience implementing and working with Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions
• Understanding of Data Governance principles

• Coding experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with Data Platforms (Snowflake, dbt, Alteryx, Databricks...)

• Specific examples of navigating organizational challenges
• Strategies to investigate and resolve pipeline failures and data quality
• How to redesign pipelines with high loadtime handling historical data and updated records
• Data Governance implementation strategies that are GDPR compliant
