The Revenue Technology (Rev Tech) Engineering team, part of Rev Ops under the Field Technology umbrella, is looking to add a Senior Software Engineer focused on Support Tools. We are seeking creative and passionate individuals to help us evolve and operate critical tooling for our Support teams. The Rev Tech Eng team is responsible for building Field and CSG workflows and GenAI experiences that drive revenue and operational efficiency across Elastic.

This specific role will focus on evolving existing solutions such as intelligent case routing, a bespoke Support UI, and deep integrations with Salesforce.

Day to day you will participate in coding, technical design, crafting solutions, debugging complicated failure scenarios, and prioritizing security, bug fixes, and features. You will analyze current system strengths and limitations, and think of ways to refactor our services to improve our operations and quality.

• Own the development and evolution of the tooling that powers our Support teams.
• Collaborate with Product in solving customer and Support Engineer problems.
• Proactively improve our existing services for operational efficiency.
• Debug production technical issues involving distributed systems and services.
• Work with a fully-remote distributed team of engineers located in the Americas.

• A consistent record of developing impactful software that contributes to business success.
• Foundational understanding of Node, Typescript, and React.
• Proficiency in using AI Assistants (copilots) for software engineering.
• 3+ years working as a backend engineer or 5+ years as a full-stack engineer.
• Deep passion for automation and for raising the quality bar.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience with Salesforce integrations.
• Hands‑on experience developing software on the cloud.
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI development.
• Practical knowledge of Elastic Stack.
