Together with your team, you design modern, data-driven digital solutions for the food industry. In close collaboration with sales and product management, you use direct customer feedback to continuously develop our products with new functions and features.

Location: Emmerich am Rhein (Hybrid), travel share of 10-20%

Team size: You work as part of a global team of 14 colleagues (m/f/d).

International connections: Due to the global structure of our corporate group, regular coordination and project work in intercultural teams take place.

• (Modern Engineering:) You develop highly scalable .NET microservices and are responsible for their deployment in the Azure Cloud – focusing on performance, resilience, and maintainability.
• (Automated Quality:) Using xUnit and modern testing strategies (unit, integration, and acceptance tests), you ensure a seamless CI/CD process and guarantee the technical excellence of our solutions.
• (Data Engineering and Architecture:) You design and implement efficient data structures for data-intensive applications – with an eye on scalability, stability, and future viability.
• (Code Excellence:) You lead and conduct code reviews, promote clean code, design patterns, and a shared ownership culture within the team.
• (Interdisciplinary Action:) In close collaboration with control and process engineers (m/f/d), you develop holistic digital solutions that set benchmarks in the food industry.

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification with experience as a backend developer (m/f/d)
• Good knowledge of .NET, Postgre
  
  SQL, and ideally No
  
  SQL technologies such as Redis, Influx
  
  DB, or data warehouses
• Experience with microservice architectures, asynchronous messaging (e.g., Rabbit
  
  MQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus), and cloud platforms like Azure
• Knowledge of resilience and fault tolerance patterns as well as interest in clean software architecture (e.g., DDD, Clean Architecture)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
