Senior Backend Developer, Brazil

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Backend Developer to join our global CI&T team. In this role, you’ll design and develop robust backend services and APIs that drive modern digital solutions for global clients. You will work closely with international teams, including Brazil, Europe, and North America, in a highly collaborative, Agile environment.

• Build, test, and maintain scalable backend services using modern technologies.
• Develop APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend, Dev Ops, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Implement and maintain unit, integration, and E2E tests using appropriate testing frameworks.
• Participate in architecture discussions and advocate for clean code, performance, and security best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure setup.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Work in Agile teams and participate in ceremonies (stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).

• Strong experience in Java & Springboot.
• Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, or Azure) and serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Dev Ops pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design patterns.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Open Shift).

• Proficiency with version control workflows (e.g., Git).
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) for daily interaction with international teams.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Advanced English skills (speaking & written), able to work on multicultural teams.

• Understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR).
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns (Factory, Adapter, Proxy).
