Job Description

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial information to ensure integrity is maintained
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
  • Participate in external and internal audits as required
  • Uphold Colas ethics and business principles
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting as needed
Education

Bachelors degree from an accredited college with a major in accounting, finance, or business administration with a concentration in accounting

Skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Motivated, positive, and professional
  • At least three years of accounting experience preferably in the construction and/or manufacturing field
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
  • Must possess excellent skills with Microsoft Windows and MS Office suite, particularly Outlook and Excel (intermediate level, pivot tables, vlookups, if statements, nested ifs, hlookups, sum if/ifs statements, macros, what-if analysis, data validation, etc.)
  • Experience with JDE (preferred), Sage, Timberline, or other enterprise construction industry software is a plus
