Accounts Receivable Specialist

On behalf of out client, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join an established accounting team in Brea. This role manages daily cash applications, bank reconciliations, and credit operations while serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and clients.

THIS ROLE IS TEMP TO HIRE, WITH A GUARANTEED HIRE TIMELINE.

• Reconciliations & Processing: Conduct daily bank reconciliations, process payment transactions, and maintain accurate cash application records.
• Collections & Outreach: Perform routine client follow-ups via phone and email regarding outstanding balances and payment statuses.
• Credit & Billing: Issue credit memos, evaluate incoming credit applications, and generate Schedule of Values (SOV) billing documentation.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Assist with multi-state sales tax compliance, prepare audit documentation, and evaluate credit limits to support executive decision-making.

  Experience:
  
  1–2+ years of hands‑on Net Suite software proficiency required.

  Skills:
  
  Advanced proficiency with functions like Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS. MUST HAVE
• Industry Background: Prior experience in construction, equipment logistics, or inventory‑based sectors preferred. NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED.
• Communication: Exceptional written & verbal communication skills; half the role relies on active collaboration with clients and senior management. MUST HAVE
• Core Domain Expertise: Direct experience with multi-state sales tax compliance, inventory item codes, and audit preparation support. NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED.
