Improvement Engineer

Brea, CA
The Continuous Improvement Engineer supports the global implementation of continuous improvement in the California, Singapore and Amsterdam warehouses. S/he utilizes lean engineering methodologies, tools, root cause analysis and waste reduction with a bias for action, and interfaces with employees at all levels and various functions across the business. S/he collaborates to refine, prioritize, and assist in implementation of both warehouses associate generated ideas and independently identified process improvements.
S/he drives process improvement activities to achieve dramatic improvement in the key business metrics and provides regular reports of data and actions to measure progress against the site objectives.
- Lead Global Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Utilize lean engineering principles, root cause analysis, and waste reduction techniques to optimize operational processes.
- Partner with employees at all organizational levels and departments to identify and implement process improvements.
- Facilitate Idea Generation and Execution
- Drive Key Business Metric Improvements
- Prepare and deliver regular reports detailing data, actions taken, and progress toward site objectives
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Industrial Engineering Degree (Preferred)
- 3-5 Years of Related Work Experience in Business Analytics or Data Science
- Six Sigma (Blackbelt Preferred)
- Advanced MS Office, including Reporting & Analytical Functions of Access and Excel
- SQL or Automation Analysis
- Advanced Math Skills & Statistical Analysis
