Job Description

Be Part Of A High-Performing Team

Join a global financial organization built around long-term client relationships, integrity, customer service, and disciplined banking operations. The organization emphasizes a customer-first approach, collaboration, accuracy, compliance, and delivering high-quality financial solutions while maintaining strong risk-management standards.

This branch-based team supports both consumer and business banking customers with account servicing, transaction processing, problem resolution, and financial product support. The environment is highly customer-facing and requires professionals who can balance service, operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and appropriate identification of additional banking needs.

What's In Store For You

  • Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099).
  • Full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Onsite opportunity in Brea, California.
  • Exposure to consumer and commercial branch banking operations, including new accounts, teller transactions, audit support, customer service, and financial products.
  • Opportunity to serve as an experienced branch resource while providing guidance to other branch service representatives.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Open and service consumer and business deposit accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, IRAs, and other account types.
  • Interview customers, verify identification and required documentation, review references or account-opening requirements, and accurately establish new accounts.
  • Process account maintenance, account changes, transfers, and related servicing requests.
  • Operate a teller drawer and accurately process deposits, withdrawals, night-drop items, courier transactions, mail transactions, and other branch activity.
  • Resolve customer questions, transaction discrepancies, and account servicing issues within established authority.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities to introduce customers to additional banking products and services.
  • Support branch operational controls, daily certifications, reporting, documentation, callbacks, recordkeeping, and audit-related activities.
  • Follow applicable banking regulations, internal operational policies, security procedures, dual-control requirements, and teller standards.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to less-experienced branch service staff and communicate training or service concerns to branch leadership.
Requirements

Do You Bring Proven Success in New Accounts and Branch Banking Operations?

  • 3+ years of new accounts, branch operations, financial-services sales, or related banking customer-service experience.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of opening and servicing consumer and business deposit accounts.
  • Experience handling documentation for more complex account ownership structures, such as fiduciary and corporate accounts.
  • Working knowledge of retail and commercial banking products, terminology, operating procedures, and applicable banking regulations.
  • Teller experience with the ability to accurately count and balance currency, coin, and negotiable instruments.
  • Ability to calculate account balances and interest and identify routine transaction or mathematical discrepancies.
  • Comfortable using account-opening systems, banking platforms, spreadsheets, word-processing applications, and other branch technology.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, including the ability to resolve challenging or non-standard customer situations.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently under general supervision.
  • Associate degree in Business or comparable professional experience.
