Overview
Environmental Services Regional Global Practice Manager role at Burns & McDonnell. The Regional Global Practice Manager is responsible for the strategic development and overall leadership of a Regional Global Practice, with responsibility for the profitable growth of Global Practice market segments. Leads the business line in a dynamic, profitable manner based on Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and outstanding service.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the sales, revenue and income goals for the Global Practice.
- Develops a long-term strategic plan and directs the implementation of business strategies for the practice, including operational, marketing, pricing, and sales and customer retention strategies. Provide industry expertise with respect to the competition.
- Achieves targets and standards for financial performance; presents monthly financial information to leadership, including schedules and budget forecasts.
- Ensure alignment and support of Regional Office staff development, quality control and resource coordination.
- Recruit, hire, develop and retain outstanding employee-owners.
- Conduct performance evaluations for selected departments or direct reports.
- Interpret policies, purposes and goals of the organization to Department Managers.
- Execute projects by meeting or exceeding client expectations for quality, schedule and budget.
- Plan, coordinate, communicate and facilitate activities of several disciplines on projects of all sizes from conception through completion; collaborate with internal and external clients for successful project completion.
- Initiate and direct proposal development and contract negotiations; coordinate project planning, including scoping, budgeting, maintaining schedules, communicating and managing deadlines, and achieving critical project objectives.
- Ensure quality and safety standards; adhere to Burns & McDonnell Quality Control program and Safety program.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, site safety policies, equal employment opportunity initiatives, and other standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental-related sciences, geology, environmental studies, engineering, business or related field from an accredited program and 10 years of relevant consulting experience, preferably in the consulting engineering industry or project management.
- Expert experience in client and business development.
- Expert experience in managing projects, including proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, design team coordination & communication, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination.
- Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated success in budgeting, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects.
- Ability to positively influence, lead and manage.
- Excellent planning, analytical and communication skills; ability to present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Microsoft Project or equivalent.
$- Yearly
The expected compensation range is displayed in compliance with local/state regulations and based on factors such as education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package may include a base salary and eligibility to participate in a discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
