2nd Shift CNC Machinist

Located in Brea, CA, this established manufacturing company has been producing precision-engineered engines for industrial, agricultural, and military applications since 1937. With a close-knit team of around 35 employees and a growing fleet of 13 CNC machines (with plans to expand), the company is known for its in-house design and manufacturing capabilities and its commitment to quality craftsmanship.

As a CNC Machinist, you will cross train on CNC lathe (with live tooling) and 3 axis mill making tight toleranced partsin a high-mix, low-volume environment, typically producing 1 to 5 parts per job. Your experience will directly support the shop’s continued growth and reputation for excellence.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications

• Read G Code
• 1st article inspections

• 3+ years setting up and operating lathes with live tooling and/or 3 axis mills (5 axis mills is a plus)
• Ability and knowledge of G-code
• Other duties around the shop as needed
