Business Solutions Manager at Ultimate Staffing Services | Realtor | Life Insurance AgentResponsibilities of the SMT Operator III:
- Set up, operate, and shut down assigned equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform basic programming and preventive maintenance tasks; maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Ensure all products meet quality specifications and production schedules.
- Notify the Machine Group Leader of any quality issues or deviations.
- Profile Wave equipment to achieve proper reflow performance.
- Handle and dispose of dross from leaded and non-leaded solder in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain fixtures and perform routine fixture maintenance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and component identification.
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions and work with hand tools.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset and strong work ethic.
Shift
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Arrival Expectation:
Operators are expected to arrive by 5:45 AM to allow 15 minutes for equipment setup before production begins.
Overtime:
May be required based on production needs, compensated in accordance with California labor law.
Meal Break:
One 30‑minute unpaid meal break, typically scheduled around 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM.
Rest Breaks:
Two paid 10‑minute rest breaks per shift, in compliance with California labor law.
