Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace, leading the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM comprises nine subsidiaries across the United States.

• Plan and perform close‑tolerance set‑ups with multiple material types.
• Train, instruct, and set up lower‑level employees.
• Operate the machine with no set‑ups for others required.
• Establish proper grinding wheel speeds and stock removal rates for optimum efficiency.
• Identify necessary gauges for each job.
• Perform 1st‑article inspection according to the part print before operating or turning over to another operator.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to help the team meet daily quality and productivity goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work with minimal supervision to independently perform the duties of a Set‑up Grinder Operator.

• Set up and operate one Cincinnati #2 OM Center‑Less Grinding Machine.
• Maintain high quality standards.
• Read and understand work instructions.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Record and input set‑up/production information into LTS production tracking.
• Observe all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Visual acuity for detailed work.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist and back periodically.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to work in an un‑air‑conditioned shop environment.

• Report any equipment defects, unsafe or hazardous conditions, or material shortages to the supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good communication skills.
• Blueprint reading ability.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (micrometer, caliper, drop gauges, etc.).
• 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with Cincinnati Centerless Grinders preferred.
