Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace, leading in manufacturing fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for aerospace and defense markets.

The Machine Operator maximizes efficiency through set‑ups and operations of automatic machines to manufacture all types of parts in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.

• Operates equipment to produce machined parts according to blueprints, router package specifications and/or special instructions.
• Understands and uses drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work‑piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Starts and observes on‑going machine operation to detect malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
• Verifies conformance of finished work‑piece to specifications.
• Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
• Records the piece count and run time of the production.
• Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.
• Checks parts for conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers and gauges and performs SPC.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A minimum of 0-3 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
