CNC Lathe Programmer-Operator

Join the M.R. Mold & Engineering team as a CNC Lathe Programmer‑Operator in Orange County.

M.R. Mold & Engineering Corp. has 37 years of experience making low‑tolerance, flash‑less, rubber and plastic prototypes, production, and micro‑injection molds for medical and dental implantables, masks, hearing aids, aerospace, consumer products, and fluid handling. We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe programmer/operator.

• Set up work, program, and operate CNC lathe.
• Read, interpret, and follow CAD models and blueprints.
• Program machines for unattended night runs.
• Monitor machine performance (tool wear, cycle time, product quality) and identify and correct issues.

• Experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathe.
• Preference for experience with tight tolerance machining.
• Mastercam experience required.
• Knowledge of tooling speeds and feeds to meet quality and production standards.
• Knowledge of raw materials, cutting tool geometry and tolerances.
• Knowledge of precision inspection equipment and methods (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Job shop experience preferred.
• Strong basic math/shop math skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
