Precision Machinist CNC Lathe & VMC Setup

Job Description

• Do you thrive on tight-tolerance work in a high-mix, low-volume setting?
• Are you comfortable moving between a live-tool lathe and a 3‑axis mill?
• Do you enjoy small-batch runs (often 1–5 pieces) where first-article quality is critical?

• Set up CNC lathes (with live tooling) and 3‑axis vertical mills
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Work directly with G-code
• Complete first article inspections before release to production
• Assist with other shop tasks as needed

• 3+ years of setup / operation on live-tool lathes and / or 3‑axis mills (5‑axis exposure is a plus)
• Fluency in G-code
• Strength in GD&T and production run setups

• CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC)
• CNC Lathe (2–4 axis)

• Standard hours : starting at 2 : 30 PM
