Wire Room Associate – Forklift Operator

Location: Brea, CA 92821

Pay Rate: $22.00 / hour

Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Graveyard / 3rd Shift), with overtime as needed

Job Type: Full-Time, Immediate Hire

We are hiring 2 detail-oriented Wire Room Associates for our overnight distribution team. In this specialized role, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and spooling large industrial wire orders, bundling them securely, and staging them for outbound shipment.

If you have sharp measurement skills, take pride in accuracy, and bring solid forklift experience (both sit-down and stand-up), this is an excellent opportunity with competitive pay.

• Safely measure, spool, cut, and coil large quantities of wire and cable according to exact customer orders and cut-sheets.

• Bundle, strap, label, and package finished wire coils and reels to ensure safe transport.

• Safely operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport heavy wire reels, raw inventory, and completed orders to the shipping dock.

• Inspect wire for defects and verify order accuracy prior to packaging.

• Perform pre-shift safety checks on spooling machinery and powered industrial equipment.

• Keep the wire room clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

  Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1 year of experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts .

• Measurement & Precision: Strong math skills and high attention to detail; must be comfortable reading cut-sheets and using standard measuring devices/meters accurately.

• Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and pull 50+ lbs repeatedly.

• Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods (8+ hours).

• Schedule Reliability: Available and punctual for the overnight 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM schedule, including mandatory overtime during peak operational periods.

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
