Overview
Senior Communications / Brand Marketing role at Samyang America. We are seeking a marketer with 5 - 8 years of experience and a digital-first mindset to drive high-impact paid media campaigns, influencer collaborations, and brand activations. The Sr. Brand Communications Specialist will lead multi-channel digital marketing efforts, manage agency partnerships, and execute performance-driven strategies to elevate brand awareness and engagement. This role involves collaboration across time zones (HQ in Seoul and partners on the East and West Coasts) and may include occasional travel for brand activations, events, and cross-functional meetings.
Bilingual in English and Korean is not required, but it’s a plus.

What You'll Do- Brand Activations & Events
- Concept and execute Gen Z-driven brand experiences and pop-ups.
- Manage logistics, vendors, and on-site execution.
- Amplify events via social and paid media; analyze results and key metrics post-event.
- Digital Marketing & Paid Media
- Lead and execute integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels to drive brand visibility and conversions.
- Collaborate with agencies and HQ (Seoul) to align paid and organic media strategies.
- Partner with the eCommerce team to develop and manage retail media plans across platforms like Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, and Instacart.
- Oversee paid digital activations for key cultural events (e.g., Coachella, Complex Con), B2B brand collaboration and manage strategic media partnerships.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across creative assets, paid media, brand websites, and partner platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and audience insights to refine targeting, improve ROI, and inform future strategies.
- PR & Media Outreach
- Support media relations, press releases, and strategic gifting.
- Help secure earned placements that complement brand campaigns.
- Track PR results and optimize for brand exposure.
You’re a strategic and detail-oriented marketer who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You bring both creative thinking and sharp execution to every campaign, and you’re passionate about building brands that connect deeply with culture and community.
- You’re equally comfortable developing a big-picture strategy and jumping into the details of a campaign brief.
- You’re an excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate ideas and updates across cross-functional teams in the U.S. and HQ in Seoul.
- You’ll represent the brand externally—working directly with media, agencies, and partners—so strong relationship-building and presentation skills are a must.
- You bring clarity, positivity, and accountability to every project and can juggle multiple deadlines without losing focus.
- You’re highly organized, with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- You’re proactive, adaptable, and able to pivot quickly with a can-do attitude.
- You welcome feedback, collaborate well, and always look for ways to grow—both personally and professionally.
The base salary for this position is between $75,000 and $95,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
