DESCRIPTION
The Associate Business Manager assists the Business Manager in executing the mutual business goals of Acosta and assigned clients. Under the direction of the Business Manager, manages the bulk of smaller clients’ responsibilities and supports the Business Managers with key clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Supports Business Partners with key client tactical communication: liaison with Marketing, on key metric tracking, promotion plans, post‑promo analysis, and development of sales presentations.
- Provides tactical and strategic client communications for smaller clients: develops and delivers sales presentations, assists in promotion planning, execution tracking, post‑promotion analysis, marketing analysis, and category reviews.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- One year marketing, sales, or sales support experience.
- Ability to take complex data and create solutions where there may be different goals from customers and clients.
- Capacity to build rapport with all stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills, including strategy development and tactical technique.
- Effective communication, teamwork, commitment to serving clients, strong work ethic, proactive assessment of client/customer needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Sales Financial Data and Analytical Acumen – Basic.
- Cross‑Functional and Thought Leadership – Basic.
- Relationship Building and Customer Expertise – Intermediate.
- Solution Focused Problem Solving – Basic.
- Effective Communication and Strategic Storytelling – Basic.
