We are looking for an Accountant to join our Farris team in Brecksville!

This position is responsible for maintaining or overseeing the maintenance of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income.

Develop and modify major segments of an accounting system including associated accounts, records, reports, and controls.

Make daily decisions concerning the accounting treatment of financial transactions and recommend solutions to complex accounting problems.

Maintain appropriate project accounting controls to ensure compliance for revenue recognition and invoicing.

Review, coordinate, and provide documentation to support various internal and external audit requirements.

Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.

May perform statistical analyses to determine trends, estimate and write narrative reports explaining findings.

Your Expertise:

• 2+ years of Accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• High accuracy in handling and recording financial transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients, including the ability to present financial information.
• Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decision-making
• Understanding of and commitment to ethical practices in accounting.
