Graduate Purchasing And Stock Controller
Overview
If you are looking for a busy, varied role at the heart of business operations, then this is ideal. You'll be involved in areas including purchasing and stock-management. The business manufactures a range of equipment that is used by well known food manufacturers, online retailers, and distributors.
Responsibilities- Stock-control and supply-chain management: looking after the materials and stock used to make the items, ensuring deliveries are correct, and maintaining sufficient inventory.
- Ensure parts are sent out correctly to customers.
- Purchasing: identify suitable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
- Interact with suppliers, internal staff, and customers. Learn about how the business operates.
- Become a super-user of the business management system and pursue ongoing professional development. Potentially undertake a Purchasing qualification and learn to use the forklift truck if desired. Learn about ISO quality and environmental management.
- Other graduates have done very well in the business.
A starting salary of £27,500, which will be reviewed and increased in time. Benefits include:

You should have a degree, ideally related to Engineering, Business or Logistics / Supply Chain. Other than that, full training is provided.
LocationLocation is Brecon. It would be ideal if you live nearby. However, if you are in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea or areas in between and are happy to commute, please apply (though realistically you would need your own transport).
