Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Welsh to join their supportive and forward-thinking secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in developing pupils’ confidence, fluency, and appreciation of Welsh language and culture.

• Plan and deliver engaging Welsh language lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable where applicable)
• Foster a love for the Welsh language, literature, and culture
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole‑school initiatives
• Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs

• Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Welsh in a secondary school setting
• Passionate about promoting Welsh language and culture
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school

• Currently based in the UK
• Do not require employer sponsorship for UK right to work
• Have UK schools experience
• Fluent in Welsh
