Teacher Active is proud to be working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Brecon, offering flexible day-to-day supply opportunities for dedicated Teaching Assistants. These schools are committed to providing engaging learning environments where pupils are supported to achieve their best and supply staff are valued members of the school community.

We are looking to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide flexible day-to-day supply cover across primary schools in Brecon from September 2026. The successful Teaching Assistant will support class teachers, work with pupils across a range of year groups, assist with classroom activities and adapt confidently to different school settings while maintaining a positive and professional approach.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant classroom experience
• Previous experience working within UK primary schools
• Excellent communication and classroom support skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• A proactive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
