Teacher Active – a leading supply teaching agency – is on the lookout for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work in primary schools across Brecon and surrounding areas.

Full‑time or Part‑time. Long‑term placements or flexible day‑to‑day supply – you choose what works for you!

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Providing one‑to‑one or small group support to pupils
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and activities
• Encouraging pupil participation and promoting positive behaviour

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children (voluntary, school‑based, or transferable roles such as youth work, care, coaching, etc.)
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Being caring, reliable, and ready to make a difference in the classroom
