Job Description & How to Apply Below

Would you like to step into the New Year with a new challenge and more responsibility? We're recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider for a Service Manager who's ready to lead, inspire, and make a real difference in people's lives.

If you're passionate about person-centred support and enjoy leading teams to do their best work, this could be the perfect next step for you.

The Role

Reporting to the Registered Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of supported living services. You'll lead Senior Support Workers and Support Staff, setting high standards and leading by example.

You'll play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for the people supported, making sure care planning is strong, risks are managed well, and support is always personalised.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
  • Making sure care plans and risk assessments are well written, up to date, and meaningful
  • Championing safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing across your services
  • Supporting people to build relationships, grow independence, and stay connected to their communities
  • Managing staffing, rotas, care hours, and budgets effectively
  • Working closely with families, professionals, and external partners
  • Encouraging feedback from people who use the service and turning it into real improvements
  • Embedding Active Support so people are supported to live life on their terms
What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from people who already have experience leading within care and are ready to take the next step.

You'll ideally have:

  • A QCF Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care (or be willing to work towards it)
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities
  • At least 1 year's experience in a management or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, mental capacity, health & safety, and CIW standards
  • Confidence working with families, professionals, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to take part in an out-of-hours on-call rota
