Salary: £15.70 per hour

Hours: 14 hour contract

Shift Times: 07:45-14:45, 14:45-21:45, 07:15-21:45

Shaw Healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Trenewydd, situated in Brecon. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty and for older people living with dementia.

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents’ needs or wellbeing promptly to the Line Manager
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation

• Experience working with older people in residential care
• Completed or working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Flexible, patient, caring, organised and people‑oriented
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
