Salary: £15.11 per hour

Hours: 36 hour contract

Shift Times: 08:00 - 20:00

Shaw Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join Ashburnham House as a Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by supporting our residents to live as independently as possible in their own home, while promoting choice, inclusion, dignity and wellbeing every day.

This will include, but not limited to:

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation

• Experience working with older people in residential care
• Completed or working towards an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
