Senior Support Worker

Brecon, Powys (LD3) SALARY: £15.25 - £15.85
* per hour
HOURS:
Up to
46.5 hours per week SHIFT PATTERNS:
8.30AM-9PM and 9PM
- 8.30AM if required.

About Bryn Awel:
We provide residential support for 7 adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs.
We encourage and motivate each person we support to feel good about themselves.
We enable people to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them and ultimately to lead happy and fulfilled lives.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Managing a team of Support Workers
- Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Liaise with health professionals and their families
- Complete supervisions and audits
- To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
