The Role

Reporting to the General Manager and supported by the Regional Maintenance Technician, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure the hotel is safe, compliant, and well presented.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
  • General repairs across the hotel.
  • Weekly compliance and safety checks.
  • Basic plumbing, joinery, decorating, and building repairs.
  • Grounds and external maintenance.
  • Working with contractors where required.
  • Logging maintenance activity using our facilities management system.
About You

You'll have:

  • Previous maintenance or trade experience.
  • Practical skills across general building maintenance.
  • The ability to work independently and solve problems.
  • Good communication and basic IT skills.
  • A proactive approach and pride in your work.
  • A full UK driving licence (maximum six penalty points).

An IPAF 1b licence is desirable but not essential.

Tools

You will need to provide your own tools, which must be safe and suitable for the work. We will replace any equipment that becomes worn or damaged while being used for the job, where appropriate.
