Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is working with a specialist manufacturer in the Brecon area who are seeking an Assembly Operative on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, or Production Operative to join a specialist engineering environment, building and assembling new machines and spare parts while ensuring production processes are carried out safely and efficiently.

What We Offer

£25,000 per annum.
Permanent position.
Monday to Friday working pattern.
37.5 hours per week.

Key Duties

Manufacture and assemble new machines and spare parts on the shop floor.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and checked.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Contribute positively to non-conformance and customer complaint reviews.

Requirements

Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is essential, with experience within an engineering environment ideal but not mandatory.
GCSE level education.
Understanding of ISO
9001 and ISO
14001 desirable but not essential.
Forklift experience is ideal but not mandatory.
A methodical and thorough approach to work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
