We are on the lookout for a live performance designer who feels like a fish in the waters of performers, musicians, light, music, and most importantly: not afraid to pitch remarkable ideas for our show concepts. The crazy ones that rock our audience to their core, and find their way to becoming aesthetic memories. We are looking for a soul that knows how to touch a snare and evoke emotions via the stage.

Plugged Live Shows creates one-of-a-kind live shows, worldwide. We work for A-brands, be it in corporate events, marketing departments and the public performance segment. We are an experiential studio that engages audiences and touches individuals by creating signature shows with a creative vision and a deep communicative core.

You are a performance designer who merges your artistic vision with aesthetics, impact and originality. You are a master in inspiring our team of designers, be it choreographers, light designers, scenographers around the idea. Together with our creative team, consisting of a strategic storyteller, a concept visualizer and the creations manager, you merge a concept into a presentation that ensures a green light.

From there, with your fellow ‘Guardians of the Wow’, you create and realize this vision into realization and ensure dramaturgy. On location, you co-create and finetune the show with our team, potentially as a showdirector depending on your experience and ‘perfect fit’ with the concept and its building blocks. You understand what performers need to excel and perform their best.

• Are a creative idea machine who conjures up artistic and remarkable performance concepts that resonate with the core message, or rationale, of the show and its vision;

• Grow and maintain our network of performers, designers and talent;

• Cast the troupe of performers with whom we perceive a live experience;

• Work with the art director, or take the role of art director depending on your experience, which is a creative project-leadership role that is designated per project, to bring the custom show creations to life;

• Join the team of creators and designers in fittings, rehearsals, recordings and help maintain our level of quality and originality on our signature standers;

• Ensure dramaturgy and become one of our ‘Guardians of the Wow’;

• Are on the constant lookout for innovations, artistic opportunities the new, the avant garde and ensures we remain on the path of originality;

• Cherish the gray area between creativity and production, leave ego in its cage and work with a team to create a stunning end result together.

We are looking for a live performance designer with the following traits:

• Proven experience in the world of idea creation for the stage and the realization thereof;

• Expert in the world of live performance, showcrew, theater and live experiences;

• Feels comfortable working in a team and in creating art for our clients;

• Thrives in the dynamic character of rehearsal pressure, travel and a variety of cultures;

• Keeps his of her calm, and most importantly, knows how to inspire;

• ‘Feels’ whether something moves our audiences, and stands for reaching those emotions;

• Is a voice, not an Echo-o-o;

• Has outstanding communication skills in English.
