Area Product Manager; m​/f​/x voor Process Instrumentatie

To strengthen our team in The Netherlands, we are looking for an Area Product Manager (Sales Engineer) for our Process Instrumentation portfolio.

In this role, you will combine your process engineering expertise with a strong commercial mindset. You will be responsible for the sales development and application support of our process instrumentation solutions within The Netherlands.

• Management of existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation and follow up in different industries
• Effective territory management in a broad base of industries and applications.
• Translate customer process requirements into tailored measurement solutions
• Direct responsibility for sales negotiations and handling of sales projects.
• Support the development of customer applications.
• Participation at conferences and exhibitions.
• Support the development of marketing communications with customers.
• Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations, installations and train customers on the correct use of their equipment.

• Suitable candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, physics or related discipline.
• At least two years of experience of successfully selling Process Instrumentation. Comparable instrument sales experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided.
• Knowledge of the inline Process industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Project managers, plant managers and technicians.
• Availability to travel throughout Netherlands and occasionally to our Headquarters in Austria for training and business meetings.
• Located in the middle of the Netherlands within easy access to main road network.

Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) is required; additional language skills are a plus.
