The challenge
As a System Engineer , you will be responsible for the complete design, implementation, integration, and testing of advanced metering and control systems. You translate client requirements into reliable technical solutions and ensure that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary project team on complex international projects where technology, software, and innovation come together.
Your responsibilities
Design and develop system software and documentation according to project specifications.
Translate client specifications, P&IDs, and instrument datasheets into functional design documents, hardware architectures, and I/O lists in compliance with international standards.
Develop software for PLCs, flow computers, and SCADA systems.
Prepare test procedures, operation manuals, and complete project documentation.
Set up and test systems in our in‑house test environment and coordinate a smooth handover to the operations department.
Ensure that all work complies with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Industrial Automation, or a similar field.
Experience with PLC and SCADA software, computer networking, field instrumentation, and communication protocols.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, AGA, API, and OIML is a plus.
Proactive attitude, strong technical insight, and awareness of commercial aspects.
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel occasionally for projects or testing.
