As a Dev Ops Engineering Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern development practices. You will work closely with experienced System and Dev Ops engineers on real‑world projects, contributing to the setup of a new Azure cloud environment while supporting day‑to‑day Dev Ops operations.
This internship is designed to help you grow toward independent ownership of routine Dev Ops tasks, while actively contributing to improvements in efficiency, automation, and documentation.
Your Responsibilities- Work closely with the System and Dev Ops teams to support Azure cloud infrastructure
, container migration initiatives, and Git Hub Actions automation - Contribute to the setup of a new Azure cloud infrastructure
, helping modernize and streamline existing processes - Support the Dev Ops Engineer with daily operational tasks
, enabling focus on more complex engineering challenges - Assist with container‑based environments
, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance - Design, build, and maintain Git Hub Actions workflows to automate development and deployment pipelines
- Gradually take ownership of routine Azure tasks
, with the goal of working independently by the end of the traineeship - Bring fresh ideas and contribute to improving technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team
- You are currently pursuing or have completed an MBO level 4 education in ICT‑beheer or Software Development
, or you are an HBO‑ICT student (3rd or 4th year) with a specialization in Infrastructure, Software Development, Cloud Engineering, or Computer Science - Strong interest in Dev Ops, cloud technologies, and modern infrastructure engineering
- Comfortable working in English
, both verbally and in writing (technical documentation and team communication) - A proactive learner who is eager to explore and master modern, complex technologies
- Some experience with scripting or programming
, such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell - Curious, hands‑on mindset with the motivation to learn by doing and improve continuously
- Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a technical team
